Welcome to ‘Finca Del Rio’, a wonderful country home in a delightfully unspoilt area of Southern Spain.

This 1.5-acre vineyard is situated in the small settlement of Cañada del Real Tesoro which belongs to the Andalusian Municipality of Cortes de la Frontera.  Nestled in the Guadiaro Valley, the property offers guests the opportunity to experience the very best of rural Spain.

The self-catering accommodation is a traditional Spanish Casita comprising two double bedrooms, family shower room and an open lounge area with an adjoining fully fitted kitchen.  The property has a large front terrace with stunning mountain views along with access to a private heated swimming pool surrounded by mature gardens.
There is  covered parking on the property.

What is provided:

  • All linen and towels (including pool towels) are provided and changed weekly

We also are pleased to provide our guests with a welcome pack that includes: milk, bread, eggs, butter, jam/marmalade and bottled water.

The property is within easy walking distance to the nearest village (with bar, restaurant and supermarket) yet offers a private and tranquil environment.  Uniquely, the local railway station is also within walking distance with routes to Ronda and Algeciras.  Numerous activities are available from walking and hiking on well signposted trails, to excellent mountain and road cycling.  The terrain offers the road cyclists breath-taking views and some of the most challenging climbs to be found in southern Spain.

The owners live on the property in the adjoining house and are available to offer help and advice; they share their home with their dogs, Merlin and Max and a number of friendly cats. Due to this they are unable to accept guest pets.

A full transfer service can be arranged from Malaga or Gibraltar International Airports.  Day trip transfers to Gaucin, Ronda and the beaches at Manilva/Estepona are also available.
